Private Equity-backed Healthcare Company: Fractional Director of Talent Ops

Heart & Vascular Partners (HVP) is a management services organization dedicated to partnering with, and supporting, cardiology and vascular practices across the U.S. 

Challenge: H&V is establishing and launching a number of regional centers as part of their ambitious growth plan over the next few years.  The strategy is solid and the execution is well underway, but the growth has placed a strain on the internal bandwidth capabilities of the corporate team, particularly the Head of HR and COO. 

Solution: AccelPeople engaged in a consultative diligence process to determine the existing challenges and devise a strategy to address the strain in an effective, and cost-effective, manner.  After consultation, it was determined that the Head of HR needed a righthand to whom she could offload a significant portion of the talent function related to the expansion.  And because of the unique compliance-related aspects of the healthcare industry, this individual needed to have experience in the space. 

Outcome: Despite being located outside of a major metropolitan area, AccelPeople was able to identify an interim Director of Talent Ops.  She was onboarded within 3 weeks of kick-off.  The interim work is actually ahead of schedule and expected to wind down months in advance.
